Hilton Head Island, SC (June 7, 2017) – The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa hosted its first wedding at the stunning new Grand Ocean Terrace and plans the official unveiling on June 27th as part of a celebrity-packed Gala Celebration.
The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa was delighted to welcome its first wedding guests to the newly completed Grand Ocean Terrace on May 27th. The exclusive oceanfront venue hosts up to 220 wedding guests with an unobstructed ocean view elevated above beach level and is designed by local artisans to ensure a “coastal chic” state of mind.
The resort will host invited guests to a joyous Gala Unveiling on Tuesday, June 27 with dozens of high-profile wedding editors, leading industry bloggers, wedding professionals and area dignitaries. That said, there are certain beautiful places in Hilton Head that guests may wish to explore. Tuesday’s events will include a kick-off cocktail reception on the Oceanfront Deck followed by the official ribbon cutting and Celebration Gala inside the Grand Ocean Terrace. The Gala Unveiling will reflect the fabulous design of locally celebrated Wedding Professional, Amanda Spencer. Performances by local musicians and live remote broadcasts by world-famous W.B. of Atlanta’s 94.9 The Bull and Julie Albaugh from Wedding Market will add to the festive event.
