The final piece of the resort’s $40 million renovation, this stunning banquet venue offersgroup meeting and wedding planners a new and exciting beachfront option for high-end events.  The Grand Ocean Terrace enjoys unobstructed ocean views elevated above beach level with over 5000 square feet of space comfortably hosting up to 400 guests.  Glasswalls slide open to a full-length covered balcony overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, while the interior boasts all-season climate comfort amid a chic coastal design.  The adjacent stone patio with fireplace overlooks an expansive beachfront deck for picturesqueceremonies. The Grand Ocean Terrace is considered a one-of-a-kind banquet structure along the East Coast of the U.S.

Award-winning “Ecotecht”, David Sklar, and award-winning Designer, Kelly Caron, collaborated on The Grand Ocean Terrace keeping the history and natural elements of the Carolina Coast paramount. Sights and sounds of the sea fill the space while Hilton Head artisans’ crafted fixtures showcase the varied talents of our local community.  Extraordinary creativity stemmed from Savannah Hardscapes, Distinctive Granite & Marble, and Lowcountry Originals who lent their talents to nurture key design elements bringing unique characteristics of the region to life.

In discussing the Grand Ocean Terrace, designer Kelly Caron noted, “Our region is steeped in history and tradition—its mesmerizing beauty is one of the most distinct in the world and we’ve channeled all those elements into this space.  This is more than a venue, it symbolizes all the natural wonders that our community has come to be known for across the globe.”
